You are in for a real treat! Halloween was my dads FAVORITE holiday and it is definitely a close second to Christmas for me. He used to create a Haunted House with us every year that would have a line wrapped around the block to enter. This page is dedicated to all of the things we do to celebrate.
I like to change up the house every year and come up with at least one new theme (we decorate all of the rooms in different themes) and a whole slew of affordable DIY projects as well. We celebrate all month long! We love Halloween and I am so excited to share some of our traditions with you. Hopefully I inspire you as well :-) Happy Halloween everyone! |

Blinged Out KitchenThe vibe was upscale elegance meets the haunted mansions dining table and our blinged out kitchen was such a hit and was perfect to continue all the way through Dia De Los Meurtos. My favorite parts were definitely the gold and white skulls and the adorable skull and ghost coasters. I got them at Marshals but were able to find you some similar links. The gold candle stick holders I use quite often in my decor. I quickly changed out the candle sticks to battery operated ones so I could light up the table every night of the month. I even found some black battery operated ones to add to it.

Pastel Themed Den
Some of it was recycled, some of it was brand new. ALL of it was inspired by Miss Charlee Joy herself when she asked, "Mom, can we please put up pretty Halloween decorations this year?" Gotta love that girl, and gotta love this pastel theme! The black bats were such a hit last year that I was so excited to see black butterflies hit the market. I use museum putty to hang them instead of the stickers they come with. We have had some unfortunate paint peeling happen with the stickers. The floating witch hats are something I will do time and time again. I use the crates, lanterns, pompous, and wood flowers for several events a year. It was so easy to remove the black and skulls after Halloween and turn it into Thanksgiving decor as well!

Some of our favorite things to do for So Cal Residents:
The Great Wolf Lodge: They have the cutest trick or treat route for the kids. They get all dressed up and stop at the different stations to collect a candy or prize. Then they have the most adorable dance party after. It is such an added treat to the normal trip. DM me for a discount code.
Wraith House Haunted House: Get ready for a scare. This haunt located in Laguna Niguel is absolutely unbelievable. Their attention to detail will make you want to walk through time and time again so you don't miss a beat. It supports a local drama club and you can tell by the fantastic actors posted up throughout. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
